1) Elected Member Artists only may submit up to 3 digital images, all paintings are eligible for acceptance into the exhibition.
2) If you are a non-member who has registered as a member thus paying the member's only fee, you will be disqualified without a refund.
3) All entries must have been completed in the last 4 years and not been shown in a previous CSPWC/SCPA exhibition.
4) Sales: 30% commission is deducted from the sale price. Prices must be in Canadian dollars and cannot be changed. Artists' works must be for sale.
5) All paintings must be original, created by the artist who is submitting. All Copyright apply. Application must be by hand, brush or any other tool by the artist without digital mechanical assistance.
6) Paintings must not be derivative or based on the work of others or in any way an infringement of copyright. Using stock imagery or photos taken by professional photographers is not permissible, even with permission or paid licensing.
7) Artists quality watercolour pigments are allowed, with minimal use of body colour or other accents; this will constitute the definition of a transparent watercolour for the purpose of this exhibition.
8) All archival fibre supports are allowed.
9) “Here & Now 2023” Members Exhibition is strictly open to submissions painted in transparent watercolour as defined in this call for entry.
10) Entries that are accepted for exhibition will remain on display until the end date of the online exhibition on February 28, 2024.
11)The CSPWC, Exhibition Chair and/or the Jury reserves the right to remove any posted online painting at any time for any reason. Any painting deemed to not concur with the terms and conditions as described herein will be removed.
12) If an accepted artist withdraws their work after the adjudication, they will not be eligible to enter CSPWC exhibitions for three years.
13) By submission of entry, the artist grants the CSPWC the right to use the image of the accepted work for publicity, educational, reference and archive purposes.
14) Sponsored Awards are subject to change. The CSPWC/SCPA does not assume responsibility if a sponsor withdraws or changes an award.
15) By submission of entry, the artist agrees to all the terms and conditions of entry as per this form.
